    I remember Basset's Scobie was a gent and let us stand in the shop and sniff the atmosphere. I used to by my snuff and tickler there when I was older. It was also a fishmongers and had some really beautiful, handmade tiles making a mural on the wall on the right, behind the chiller. Any ideas...

    I remember the one in Jacobs as Mum used to take me there for clothes. The damned thing used to fascinate me no end. I believe it was the last one to work in the town and I last heard it was in Flambards Victorian Village. Sadly they couldn't get it to work

    I remember this, my Dad worked at Western National, now Lidl's and that had certain perks, one of them was to sometimes ride on this. Perhaps Penzances first open top bus!!
