denanmor: Whoa, I think I ve even looked at your picture before but did not realise that it is the same wreck. ::17:::12: It is weird that we took a picture of the same subject the same month.
Again taken in July 1989 on a boat trip from Penzance (or Newlyn) to St. Michael's Mount. Here a bit of the boat can be seen. It is not much, but perhaps someone can still recognise it. Not sure whether this was a regular service or some fisherman earning extra money.
One of my favourite places in Penwith.
For what people now use stitching software, I used glue at the time... Best thing I could figure out with my cheap camera.

This was taken in the yard of Old St. Paul's School in July 1990. Language classes were held there in summer, attended by teenagers from all over Europe (such as myself). Note the Instamatic/Agfamatic-type pocket camera.
Between classes. Apparently you had to put one leg onto the bench in order to be cool (that is unless you had to accommodate your girlfriend). Mostly Austrians here I think.
More of the language classes in 1990. This is still the Romeo and Juliet event (great balcony!). Mostly Austrians in this class, I believe. The guy who is reading is Thomas from Vienna, who was also here in 1989.

Our favourite pub, this time in July 1990. Didn't change much from one year earlier. Full Lum Chinese and English Hot Meals to Take away is still next door.
