    My eldest sister used to work at the Manor for Freda Baker before she was married, and I often visited the place with her. Happy days!

    I can go back further than that. The first shop was Cottons shop and I used to go to Camborne Tech with Wendy Cotton. The Second shop was a greengrocers but I can t remember the name. The third shop was the Fish and Chip shop and we were given chips on the counter while waiting for our order and...

    Nice picture - I have one that Clive painted of my husbands boat - Lady Zoe - but I haven t come across it yet because most of our stuff is packed away for moving- I will come across it some time though and upload it to this site!

    I remember that day too - My big sister lived in St. Just at that time (Margaret Farley) and took me to see Elsie Tanner. I remember queuing for ages to get an autographed photograph of her!
