1965; High Street Chapel; as is usual, repairs require a great deal of money that is not available, and so a number of talented and willing volunteers jump in to do the work. My uncle Bert Pascoe centre white, Horton Bolitho and Hedley Nicholls on the dormer roof. I cannot remember any other names.
I. and A. J. Fuzzey, Furnishers. These are the premises opened in 1889 at Nr 102 Market Jew Street; Mr Fuzzey rebult these premises in 1893 (60 feet shopfront) demolishing old tenements and providing the town with an outlet for high class furniture. The family came from Guernsey. Picture...
