If this is the team of 1947 which year is the other athletics team in this same folder? You have also added a comment to this one but have not queried the year.
I believe the third in the back row was John Triggs, not Jimmy Chivers. John Triggs died aged 22 or thereabouts. "Skeggs" was called Keith, "Symons" was Peter Simons, "Jenkin" was Jimmy Jenkin, lived in Mousehole. I think the boy on Mr. Otto's right was Eric Mitchell.
