funny HH took a photo of this today...first time I've seen it as I have been ill all week and not ventured out till today.....we can see it from the heamoor roundabout, it looks big...good photo.
I see, been busy on another project, came back and saw your thread. A fait a complis, as it were. Not changed my mind, sooner or later with precedent being set, the landscape will be blighted with a plethora of such sights.
I think it is for the college but that's not the point if anybody suggested putting a wind turbine there several years ago they would of been told to sling their hook, so what's changed the one stop shop is probably going to close and a super market opening so we might get another turbine to power that.
I remarked to my wife today on noticing it for the first time from the Rec, 'That's the first time I've known about the thing and it's already in place!' Somebody rushed this through without letting the fact be well known. From the Rec, you would think it was part of the College campus rather than in the Cricket field at St Clare.' I'm ambivalent in my views about wind turbines but it annoys me that I was so slow to be made aware of it! I wonder what would happen if I set one up on our corner. Why should anyone object? Didn't you all realise there was a notice on the lampost outside for the last three months?
