ST BREACA CHURCH

Located in the Village of Breage, Cornwall, UK

The church was built in the 15th century and dedicated to an Irish missionary by the name of St Breaca: it has two aisles separated from the nave by granite arcades of standard design. On the north wall there are five medieval wall paintings of saints: Ambrose, Christopher, Corentine and Hilary.

Shewing what has importance and vitality - besides the photograph being top notch; the info is just what is lacking from so many other photographs; this group is very welcome and applauded :)

Thank you Treeve. It's a lovely church, well worth a visit, even if you're not religious. I'm not very knowledgeable as such, so I took some text from Wiki! lol. Glad you like the pic though :)

how the world has changed, I lived in a world where mt background was backed by my family, and the church, and by research and writing - I have a number of documents and books here; the fact is that either way you have fed the mind. :)

I have lots of books too, mainly history. The internet is a treasure trove of info on an infinite amount of subjects. But you're right, times have indeed changed. I still prefer to hold a book rather than read from an e-reader :)
