Just working on the word-play I would guess at Sure Start Lescudjack . But looks like an older roof; I thought sure start were in more modern buildings
It is a roof of a good age, yes, but not Lescudjack or Sure Start. The clue is typical of a cryptic crossword. I spent many years doing them together with my wife.
