Holy Kerbs, Batman

So, where is this little beauty?
I estimate this one to be c 1825.
Recently added to my 'collection'.
Thank you tabtab13 does anyone know what st stands for? apart from street as there are quite a few around...

I have begun to mark them all up on a map, to try and sort out what the code is. I was asked this by Penzance Borough some time back as they have no records that indicate any of the letter codes, and are waiting for me to tell them . Some have been incised before laying the slabs and or kerbs, others have been incised in situ.

I must admit that I am disappointed to see that the letter that was outside the cafe aroma was NOT REPLACED!! (Chapel Street) Not where they are now..... when they last did some work on the pavement.
Interesting to know that the PB have no idea either? I do have several letters that I have found out and about but I think that you have most of them already...

Perhaps someone should tell Dan Brown about them - The Penzance Code . Coming to a bookshop near you soon! read#

I was told that the B is in the hands of PowerGen, whilst works continue on the building - they are not yet complete.
That stone was positioned in Market Place, by the way (Cafe Aroma).
The stone is rather important not to get damaged or lost, it is a boundary marker. As far as writing to Dan Brown is concerned, I would rather write to someone with intelligence.

What is very wierd is that there has just been an advert on TV for the lost symbol by Dan Brown............................

What I want to know is, what proof do we have that Dan Brown is more than a figment of his own imagination?

There are a lot of ST s in Truro too, and a GPO. Perhaps Derren Brown could predict where else we can find them?! read#

OMG two people with the name of Brown, it HAS to be more than a coincidence, this family has been working towards world domination since before 3,000 BC, and has decended from King Darius III, if you set out the letters of BROWN in a star shape, inscribed in Swahili, each letter interspersed with the Zhongi Cantonese Takeaway Menu Numbers, you will be amazed to discover even more Bull than Minos. read#
