A portrait to conjure up a nice bit of nostalgia! If you took me back to 1946, Welb, I have to admit I wouldn't even be a gleam in my folks' eyes. In fact, I was a bit of a shock in 1948, coming four and a half years after my next sibling up. The eldest brother of the nine of us was (like you, welb1931?) born in 1931. Had you many siblings?
Just an older sister who lives in Camborne...I dont think today at 80 I could runvery far lat alone diving off the prom (at high water)..the days of our youth !!!!
