This is an exhibit in the new Cog i Tate gallery at Newlyn, where most art has been codged together ... in fact you can see another exhibit emerging from the upper tube - it is another mad artist, who will be presenting the world with an object of derision, of considerable attributes in that direction.
Thank you t. So far the suggestions for this have been utterly rediculous, I mean this looks nothing like the Ginos Spagetti Flattener TM (which has at least two more cogs than this), and treeve, this is not art and I wouldn t call what this machinery produces art, but then again, anything is art these days isn t it?!
Clearly a device used to illustrate the very worst that can occur when care is not taken to protect all those moving parts. Elf and Safety sponsored by Specsavers.
A very handy machine. Probably quite armless.
This is a beautifully made piece of engineering, it has to be said, in a glass display cabinet (presumably locked) and set on a table in a largish hall - perhaps at Geevor? Possibly a Stamper engine?
