Truly rural but where?

On the way from Morvah to St Ives you come to this chicane at Trevean (I think it is called) ... an the other hand those are geese, not chicanes.
 
Thought I d posted a yes for Treeve but I couldn t have okayed it after writing it! Whether it s Trevean or Trevowhan I can t say, but I believe pigs or other livestock were kept behind the wall with a square hole in it and I have seen this in the wall beyond the right of the picture which contained some sort of sty within it in the same way though here there seem to be only fowl.
 
Well, I just know it as being on the Morvah - St Ives road. Looking at the O.S. map, you may well be right! Sorry to be unsure myself!
 
Have been driven through here today by my chauffeur and can confirm that BayOfPlenty is perfectly right except that the name Porthmeor (acc. OS) is spelt Porthmear on the homestead cottage in this case. It is the other side of Carn Galver from Morvah, not far from Zennor.
