where is this?

Does any one know where this building is?
Doesn t it look awful, my brother lives near by and used to practice with his band there a few years ago. There were 5 Methodist chapels in Pendeen including, Trewellard, Carnyorth [both traditional buildings] the others were Bojewyan, Boscaswell and Botallack, these 3 [I believe] are private homes now. I believe the Trewellard Chapel building itself is owned by an organ enthusiast and whilst it looks poor should not deteriorate further. The Sunday School seems to be sinking still. It is a great shame that these buildings, a vibrant part of the community not many years ago are now neglected. But if people do not want them there is not much that can be done. St Just and Pendeen parishes already have many community buildings and a church without a congregation is unlikely to attract sufficient public use to sustain it.
I think there were two chapels in Boscaswell, one in Lower Boscaswell and one on the main road so that made at least six in Pendeen parish.

Yes you may be right, I thought there was one at lower Boscaswell. I spent a lot of time in the area in the 60s. I used to collected the grocery orders for the St just Coop. I d be out there in all weathers, all day Monday and Tuesday till lunch time. met a lot of interesting people and enjoyed being out of the shop. I ve written it all down and one day.... one day I WILL publish my autobiography. Hopefully before my next trip home. It sits in the computer backed up on discs, just waiting for me to edit

I spent a week in Trewellard last year. From the back of the house I could see the Sunday School and the Manor, both looking very sad compared with when I last lived thereabouts in the 1970s. The views over the ocean were superb but my eye kept wandering back to those buildings.
