Ok, here's another, these gates were opened to the public last year or the year before for a nostalgic look at where the event used to happen...............
I really don't know...and I seem to remember the only thing open to the public was the Treneere manor house but I don't think this is it....so the event no longer happens?
It hasn't happened for many years, it has been mentioned on PP several times and is nearer to Tremethick Cross than Treneere, and it's something near to my heart.............pheww.....

I spent many hours standing in that lane selling programmes in my youth so I ought to recognise it.
I'd spend three or four hours there and then go on to watch the latter part of the event. A really enjoyable event for me, I got to meet lots of cheerful people out for a fun day as well as see the event.
