Wool? 100 metres? 700 metres? ZOOM? LOOM?

I don't know what this says.
Do you know where it is to?
This is at the Marazion end of the causeway leading to St Michael's Mount, near Chapel Rock. That section of paving has been built up and heightened as it floats (rests) on a bed of sand. I certainly have never noticed it before this year but I am ready to be corrected. Where possible, one imagines that the workmen have used the same stones.

Don't know what happened to my last attempted comment.
Yes, just as I would have described it, tpp, on the Causeway, near Chapel Rock . This was taken on 17th February this year when we just managed to step across and back before the tide rolled in.

I thought my you could walk over this...at times was a giveaway clue.

Thanks, Chill. By chance, Jan and I were out walking this afternoon and crossed over to the Mount. Suddenly, on the way back across the causeway, the letters on the stone hit me right between the eyes. It wasn't your clue, to tell the truth, but more like a case of I was meant to catch sight of it!

Well done, it shows you keep your eyes abroad.
I anticipated the algal accretion to lead to more guesses at maritime or aqautic locations.
