1861

For a change from all those letters, here is a date. Just where is this to be seen?
Well now, there is a question ... it does get trodden on, and I have no doubt that it has had impact from the occasional (though rare) pate (not the de fois gras variety); I have more than a sneaking suspicion that this was not the intended purpose of the granite work.

More like a step into oblivion, if you ask me, than in to a pub. Mind you, for some people that could equally be true if it were a step into a pub.

Aha! Then you ve been playing tricks with the camera angle, perhaps leaning over an edge or stepping below it and taking a pic of a raised parapet. Let s plump - first of all - for the Terrace!

Not The Terrace (if I had given you any other more specific clue - then the granite would have been out of the bag, with no requirements drawn from the little grey cells); by the way, today I discovered one more plus sign on The Terrace; but with still no coordinating information.

Not Market Jew Street. Of course, you are much too young to remember The Shadows performing 1861.
