Door Post

For three points where is this house?
For an extra three points, which family had it built and when?
Anyway, I can see it s not from pics I ve found. I have revised my ideas and wonder if this is in fact Kenegie Manor, the home of Sir Arthur Harris who died there in 1628 (more in keeping with the old granite) but I m sure if you would want to walk that far! laugh#

You are definitely in the right area of history; listen here my son, I ll walk just as far as I like, when I want and just how I want, so I don t want any more of your lip, young whippersnapper ... laugh# wink# Oh, by the way, Not Kenegie.

My problem with this is that I can t think of a building old enough around Penzance to have a doorway like this without my having mentioned it! Could it be Madron Church locked back door?
