Thanks CW, I made this my personal mission today, wrote down all the 3 letter words and everything! In the end, Wikipedia was my friend when the penny dropped why the last words were Building Society, along with your previous clue.

Well done, both rrrrrichie and CW! It was entertaining even tho' I'm a bit miffed not having been able to think what building society was there before. I was racking my brains as to how to insert Mitchells first of all like someone else did and succeeded, and I knew it was another building society after that and before Portmans. That's what you get when your wife is your treasure and your treasurer! Also see what a little bit of research can do!
