Is this in the grounds of a pub, just to the east of CanonsTown? A little round the bend.

I suppose if they were to dress up to the nines and go out on the town, it would be a henge night out? I can t say that I have seen this, so I am clucking at straws. It is still around the bend. Hayle?

My innate pedantry compels me to point out that this is not a henge, it s a stone circle. I still don t know where it is, however.

a henge is any built circle, wood or stone, according to my Boy s Own Book of Pedantry

They are usually defined as being circular or oval flat areas over 20m in diameter enclosed by an earthwork which usually consists of a bank with an inner ditch. They may contain internal structures (eg, a stone circle!) but this is by no means always the case.
