I have not yet looked down Morrab Road, being a later road, but there are two sets at the top of Morrab Road, and ST is not one of them; this ST is not on Morrab Road. I was rather pre-occupied with the arrival of Naples today to continue my walk of the kerbs.
Just to clarify, this is quite different from the ST and S:T in Chapel Street, I have not seen any ST in Morrab Road. This ST is in another street and the S is so differently chiselled, as to be quite distinct. No amount of bribery or threats will coerce me into divulging its location. laugh# laugh# wink# wink#
I ll have to go and take another walk around then..... if you happen to be walking past the investment shop any time take a look, there is one there! wink# wink# laugh# laugh# another one to add to your list ...all very interesting stuff!! I had no idea there was sooo many letters chiseled out in the kerbs/pavements I wonder if they would make a name :?:
O flour of the west, much (k)needed by the Halfhidden One, as well as the dough ... I have no doubt that you have found another ST, for I hold you in great esteem. A catalogue and plan of these will appear before too long. Some groupings are so very curious. I am horrified at how much granite kerbing has disappeared already (admittedly some has been placed elsewhere). Cry Harry and St George!!
