Where is this inscription?

Anyone know the story behind this?
I think Sarah must have got stoned one day or simply sought to immortalise herself with a bit of engraved graffiti. Interesting. I have no idea where this is to be found. Could it be in the hedge alongside the path by the well at Penlee Park?

This looks like a memorial, lettering well cut and with serifs, perhaps early 18th century? Out Sheffield way?

Only, if you have done a bit of calligraphy at school, you might inscribe the sacred name of your valentine with serifs if your heart was well and truly captured by some little local flame!! see, I know what it was like to be in love! wink# How about in a secluded lane like Lover s Lane?

Just what are you saying when you say that you know what it WAS like to be in love? duh

In answer to Treeve, I am talking about the days when love started in the tummy and accelerated up through me and knocked my hat off! Nowadays love means something that has embedded itself in my heart and gets deeper each day! wink#

This is down to dargopiphead, I see ... I have not seen this before (or may not have noticed it); the main stone looks to be quite old, and the surrounding stone has been re-set. Madron area, perhaps.

It must be in Love Lane! wink# Who set this pic? We don t seems to be getting any response.
